Year 1 - First Communion preparation is a two-year process by which we bring our students to understand the true presence of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist. The first year focus is on Knowing, Loving and Serving Christ in the Catholic Church and understanding the Holy Trinity: God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
In order to register for First Communion class, parents must provide their child's:
1. Official Birth Certificate
2. Official Baptism certificate
WHO IS IT FOR?
It is for those who are Baptized and are at least 6-years-old by the time class starts in the fall, to begin their Holy First Communion preparation, which in the Diocese of Fresno is a 2 year process. This program is the fulfillment of First Holy Communion Year 1 preparation.
High School Catechism/Confirmation
OVERVIEW
Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church prepares teens to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation over a two-year period. Candidates for Confirmation can begin preparation in their Sophmore(10th grade) year of high school and have received Baptism. Each Candidate will complete their preparation by attending and participating in Classes, Sunday Mass, Community Service and Retreats.
Yearly Registration fee:
Confirmation Year 1: $100 per Student
Confirmation Year 2: $100 per Student
*Teen Baptism: $100 per Student
*Teen First Communion: $100 per Student
In order to register for classes, parents will need to provide the child's:

Adult Confirmation
OVERVIEW
Adult Confirmation program is an in-depth study of the four pillars of Catholic teaching: doctrine, the Sacraments, morality, and prayer. In addition, these classes focus on the nature of the Sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist, as well as developing a deeper relationship with Christ and the Church, the Gospel, professing the faith, and personal prayer.
WHO IS THIS FOR?
The Adult Confirmation process is for those who were baptized in the Catholic Church. Also, for those who already have and/or need the Sacrament of First Holy Communion and now desire to complete their initiation and receive the Sacrament of Confirmation.
